"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."
This video really upset me. The amount of people that saw exactly what was going on and just walked away…is disgusting. Where has the human kindness and compassion in this world gone? Putting yourself on the line for someone else is terrifying whether it’s getting in the middle of something physical like that girl did in the video or whether it’s standing up for someone by stepping in verbally as another voice and speaking out for someone who’s too scared to talk. But would you feel worse receiving abuse yourself but knowing you stood up for someone and showed you’re a caring and compassionate human…or knowing you saw someone being bullied, hurt and abused and simply walked away?
